Activities for infants and toddlers will be provided in accordance with each child’s development level. Each child will receive personal contact and attention such as being held, talk to, sung to, read to, and played with. Regular opportunities shall be provided for verbal interaction and a “hands on” exploration of the child’s world. Time will be spent outside daily when the weather permits.
Each Infant classroom will be allowed to continue his/her own pattern of sleeping, waking, and eating. While the Creeper classroom will have a set morning and afternoon nap time, and set meal times.
Infant teachers will send a daily report home each day with details of your baby’s sleeping pattern, eating pattern, diaper changing, and a short note at the bottom from the teacher.
Toddlers begin a learning schedule through developmentally appropriate activities. Art builds fine and gross motor skills, reading builds vocabulary, and music builds mobility, vocabulary, and socialization.
Toddler teachers will send a daily report home each day with details of your toddler’s activities, napping, eating and behavior.
